Q: You started learning yoga at the local community center. You’d like to ask your friend to come to the next class with you, but your friend doesn’t seem so interested. What would you say?
A: You would like it. It’s really helped me get in shape.

 


Q: You invite your friend to a good sushi restaurant, but she has never eaten raw fish and is not sure if she should go. What would you say?
A: You should try it. If you don’t like it, we can go somewhere else.

 


Q: Your sister has stayed in the house for two days because she had a fight with her boyfriend. You think she should stop worrying and get out of the house. What would you say?
A: Do you want to go for a walk with me? It will be good for you.

Q: You are having a dinner party, and you invited your colleague. You can tell that she is not quite sure if she should come or not, since she hasn’t known you for long. However, you want her to come so you can be better friends. What would you say?
A: I hope you can make it. I’d like to introduce you to my other friends.

 


Q: You and your wife are organizing your daughter Elena’s fourth birthday party at a local restaurant. You decide to invite Elena’s playmate Katie and her parents. They tell you that they will try to come but they are not sure yet. What would you say?
A: We’d love to have you there. Elena really enjoys playing with Katie.

 


Q: You’re getting married. You would really like your aunt to attend the wedding, but she lives in a distant city. What would you say?
